Suriya will be appearing in a guest role for the Malayalam remake in Tamil, titled Chennaiyil Oru Naal.
The Malayalam film 'Traffic' was a box-office hit, had brought a large amount of theatre collections. In the remake film Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Prasanna, Radhika, Ramya Nambisan, Mallika and other leading artistes appear in meaty roles.The film is directed by Shahid Khader.
As of now Suriya who is busy with the schedules of Singam 2, seems to have given nod to appear in the guest role of the film, sources said.
This will be second time for Suriya to appear in a guest-role. It is to be remembered he appeared in Avan Ivan film directed by Bala.
The story-line of the film is what is happening between people from different walks of life in 24 hours in Chennai.
