Parthiban is now acting in a Telugu movie titled 'Aappu' and has signed now to do his first ever Telugu movie.
Telugu director Sampath Nandhi is directing a movie having Chiranjeevi's son Ramcharan Teja in the lead role. Tamanna is doing opposite. Parthiban is taking up the role of Ramcharan's father.
This is the first time; Parthiban is acting in a Telugu movie and at the same time taking up a smaller role as the father of the Hero of the film.
While commenting about his roll, Parthiban said "Though the role is small, the importance for it is very high".
