The marriage reception of actor Karthi who is the son of actor Shivakumar was held on 7th July evening in Chennai. Numerous actors and actresses participated in this reception and greeted the couple. Actor Shivakumar, his wife Lakshmi, his son Surya and his daughter Brinda and daughter-in-law Jyothika welcomed one and all.
Actor Karthi is the younger brother of actor Surya. Karthi got married to Ranjani who is the daughter of the couple Chinnasami- Jyothi Meenakshi. The marriage took place in Coimbatore on 3rd of this month. Many politicians and members of the film industry participated in this marriage reception. The reception was held on 7th July evening at 6.30 pm at the Lee Meridian Hotel located in Guindy. Karthi was dressed in black coat and suit while Ranjitha was wearing rose colored saree and blouse.
Former Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin, M G R Kazhaga leader R M Veerappan, Tamil National Party leader Pazha Nedumaran, Indian Communist Party leader Nallakannu, secretary Mahendran, former MP Malaisami and DMDK leader Vijayakanth’s wife Premalatha, journalist Cho and V I T University Vice President G V Selvam came in person and greeted the couple.
